The Double Jay Collective has always operated as a media company that helps people tell their stories visually through photo and video.
We’ve expanded to training and workshops for folks who exist in online (and offline) space to support them as they share, create and show up in ways that are ethical and inclusive.
What sets us apart from others is that despite so many media companies out there that not everyone has the lived experience to understand everyone’s stories or are thinking in the same lens of ethics and inclusion and people don’t actually realize the impact and the power of the media we create and share.
I didn’t always have this successful business. I got here through one really massive year of growth and it was a struggle!
I have been privileged enough to be educated in ways about what it means to actually run a business and all the facets that are under that umbrella.
Along with some very special people in my life who believed in me. That a lot of people take for granted and don't learn much about. It is one thing to be talented as a creative but another thing to be a business owner and they aren't the same.
I am most proud about to be honest the fact that we have been able to maintain the revenue that we can bring in, we have a lot of business expenses and a lot of costs. I have been told too many people too often my entire life you couldn't earn that much from the photography and videography industry. But we’ve been able to continually grow!

Personal Time: I love to spend my personal time outdoors at parks, trails and on the beach with my husband and daughter.
Hobbies: I’m the world’s slowest reader, so I love myself a good audiobook.
Interests: I love to learn new languages; I speak English and French fluently. I also know Spanish and Russian!
